David M. Johnson, Senior Pastor

Pastor Dave has been the senior pastor at FBC since January 2006.

The son of missionary parents, he was born and raised for much of his childhood in Ontario, Canada.

After graduating from Baptist Bible College of PA with a major in Pastoral Studies, he entered the pastoral ministry in 1983.  He served in 2 pastorates in the states of Pennsylvania and New York prior to coming to Austin.

            He and his wife, Tricia, are the proud parents of 8 children. They also have 1 grandson.  The oldest 5 children are grown and gone from home with the youngest 3 children still at home.

Moises Rodriguez, Associate Pastor of Hispanic Ministries

Pastor Moisés se unió al equipo pastoral en la FBC en enero de 2010.

Nació y se crió en México. Después de aceptar a Jesucristo como su Salvador, se trasladó a los Estados Unidos.

Durante 10 años, se desempeñó como Asistente de Pastor en la Misión BautistaHispana en Sedala, MO. Este ministerio es ahora conocida como Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Sedala, MO.

               Él y su esposa, Elena, son los orgullosos padres de dos hijos. También tienen un nieto.Su hijo mayor y su esposa e hijo también viven en Austin. Su hijo menor vive todavía en casa.

Pastor Moises joined the Pastoral staff at FBC in January 2010.

He was born and raised in Mexico. After accepting Jesus Christ as his Savior, he moved to the United States.

For 10 years, he served as Assistant Pastor at Hispanic Baptist Mission in Sedala, MO.  This ministry is now called First Hispanic Baptist Church of Sedala.

He and his wife, Elena, are the proud parents of two sons.  They also have a grandson.  Their oldest son and his wife also live here in Austin. Their youngest son is still at home.
